Every time you find out that your friends went someplace without you the first thought that comes to your mind would definitely be wa lau eh, bojio! Right? Or maybe you have that irritating friend who always say you bo jio this, bo jio that. Like, “Wah lau eh, go toilet bo jio leh!” “Eh brother, we guys leh, only girls need to jio each other go toilet can!” “Don’t care lah, bo jio!”
Well, use this song on him then. We were just browsing through Facebook when we came across this song that we knew we had to share with you guys immediately. We actually came across this bona fide “bo jio” song that honestly doesn’t sound half bad!
It’s a song from Astro uploaded by Facebook page, Astro Hua Hee Dai, a community page about Astro in Malaysia. If you’re not well-versed in dialect, there’s subtitles on the video for our Chinese speaking friends. For those who doesn’t read Chinese, you can ask your Chinese friends to translate the hilarious meaning behind the “bo jio” song.
The caption is already pretty catchy: It’s TGIF, let’s take a break and listen to this song. Don’t say we bo jio!
And if you thought a song with that title definitely wouldn’t have any meaning behind it, that’s where you’re wrong. The song has three beautiful women belting out the word “bo jio” musically, a feat we previously thought impossible and believe it or not, it’s a song about friendship, and how one shouldn’t be down and mopey, but happy instead. Also, it tells of friends who will be there for you whenever you need help and support.
Enough of us prattling on about the song. You’re definitely curious and excited to hear the song for yourself right? Now sit back, relax and enjoy the “Bo Jio” song!
