San Low Seafood Restaurant
Located in Taman Pelangi, the restaurant is a 15 mins drive from Causeway which will cost about RM10(please activate the metre before boarding). Famous for its San Low Fried Bee Hoon, this restaurant has definitely won the hearts of many Singaporeans. The bee hoon is first soaked in seafood broth to enhance its taste and it is charred and crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside.

You get to enjoy fresh seafood at almost 1/3 the price of Singapore which explains why this shop is the fav places for alot of Singaporeans. At RM 117, you’ll get to enjoy 2 black pepper crabs. SGD38.45 FOR 2 CRABS. YES WE’RE NOT KIDDING YOU. And not to forget, its NETT price, because there is no service tax and GST in Malaysia. Isn’t that impressive?!

Mui Seng Nyonya Fish Head Curry in Johor Bahru, Taman Melodies
Lots of Singaporeans are willing to endure the long waiting hour at the Causeway just to eat their Fish Head Curry. Their curry surely does not disappoint. The sloshy curry broth was sour, spicy and savoury with slight traces of sweetness. A must try for all curry lovers.

Qiu Bo Curry House Fish Head Pork Ribs Johor Ulu Tiram
Another shop that is famous for its Curry Fish Head. The aromatic curry broth was creamy with fresh coconut milk and well balanced sweet, spicy and savoury flavours. The fish needless to say was very fresh and added to the sweetness of the dish.
Besides that, you can also try their beansprouts which is both crunchy and juicy. A good complement to the curry.
