We’ll have another reason to go to Genting. Ever since the inception of two casinos and USS in Singapore, locals and Malaysians alike have found little reason to go to Genting anymore. Sure, we like the mountains and cool weather and rides, but it’s just too troublesome considering the distance.
Soon, we might just find ourselves cramped on that long distance bus to Genting again. Come 2016, Resorts World Genting will open its doors to the much anticipated 20th Century Fox World outdoor theme park, the first such facility to be developed by Genting. You will get to meet your beloved movie characters from Ice Age, Rio and Planet of the Apes, on a different level. The theme park will feature characters, rides and activities centred around 20th Century Fox’s most popular and loved movies, from Epic and Rio to Planet of the Apes and Alien vs Predator.
Along with the theme park, Lee said Resorts World Genting would also include the Sky Avenue and Sky Plaza shopping mall, and a second cable car station capable of transporting 4,000 passengers per hour. Sounds great!
So if you are a fan of Twentieth Century Fox movies and not feeling excited, either you are not really a fan or I’m doing a terrible job as a writer. Probably the latter.
Anyways, with the addition of the Twentieth Century Fox theme park to the many parks in the region, such as USS(duh!), Legoland in Johor Bahru, Cartoon Network Amazone water park in Bang Saray, Thailand, Southeast Asia sure looks like the next Gold Coast on the world map!
Of course, none of it matters if you have no money, like me. Or, you could always check out our article on this new website we just discovered today.
