With我的少女時代 taking Singapore and Malaysia by storm just a few months ago, 那些年，我們一起追的女孩 also become a hit again as people tend to relate the latter with那些年 due to the similarity. While it is very debatable on which is better, most would agree that these could be the only two Taiwanese movies that Singaporeans and Malaysians have watched.
With 我的少女時代 and its theme song having so many parodies, covers and even different language versions, we found a那些年 MV, Malaysia style. While the song is the same, what’s interesting is the setting: it recreates the secondary school setting so perfectly that all Malaysians who have once worn that uniform will go, “Aww…”
